Iqaluit, Nunavut, December 15, 2025 – The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is inviting Inuit to submit proposals for the secondary call for the Qikiqtani Community Language Program (QCLP) for 2025-2026. Individual Inuit, non-profit organizations and community groups from all Qikiqtani communities are invited to submit proposals for projects. Projects and funds must be completed by June 30, 2026.
The goal of the QCLP is to reclaim, revitalize, maintain and strengthen Inuktitut in the Qikiqtani region.
We welcome proposals that focus on:
• Inuktitut educational resources
• Inuktitut Media and Arts
• Inuktitut Language Skills Development
• Inuktitut Community Programming
• Inuktitut Documentation
The QCLP is funded through partnership with Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. and the Department of Canadian Heritage.
