QIA Seeking Applications for Community Director of Iqaluit

Application Form for Appointment – Community Director of Igloolik / ᑎᒃᑯᐊᖅᓯᔪᒪᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᑐᒃᓯᕋᐅᑎ – ᐃᒡᓗᓕᒃ ᓄᓇᖓᓄᑦ ᑭᒡᒐᖅᑐᐃᔨ

  • QIA is seeking individuals that are interested in applying for the position of Community Director of Igloolik. / ᕿᑭᖅᑕᓂᒃᑯᑦ ᑲᑎᒪᔨᐅᖃᑕᐅᒍᒪᒐᔭᖅᑐᓂᒃ ᐱᓇᓱᐊᖁᔨᓕᕐᒥᔪᑦ ᓄᓇᓕᓐᓄᑦ ᑲᑎᒪᔨᔅᓴᕐᒥᒃ ᑭᒡᒐᑐᖅᑎᔨᐅᒐᔭᖅᑐᒥ ᐃᒡᓗᓂᒻᒥ.

    To be eligible for this position, an individual must / ᐆᑦᑐᕈᓐᓇᖅᑐᑦ ᑲᑎᒪᔨᐅᓂᕐᒧᑦ, ᑭᒃᑯᑐᐃᓐᓇᐃᑦ:

    • Be an Inuk recognized under the Nunavut Agreement / ᐃᓅᔭᕆᐊᓕᒃ ᓇᓗᓇᐃᖅᑕᐅᓯᒪᓗᓂ ᐃᓚᒋᔭᐅᔾᔪᑎᖃᕐᓂᖓᓂᒃ ᓄᓇᕗᑦ ᐊᖏᖃᑎᒌᒍᑎᖏᓐᓂ
    • Be a resident of Igloolik for at least 12 months / ᐃᒡᓗᓕᒻᒥ ᓄᓇᖃᕆᐊᓕᒃ ᓄᓇᖃᕐᓯᒪᓗᓂ ᑕᒫᓂ 12−ᓂᑦ ᑕᖅᑭᓂᑦ
    • Be 16 years or older on May 18, 2026 / 16−ᓂᑦ ᐅᖓᑖᓂᓘᓐᓃᑦ ᐅᑭᐅᖃᕐᓗᑎᑦ ᒪᑐᕕᔅᓴᖓᑕ ᐅᓪᓗᐊᓂ
    • Present a Criminal Records Check issued within the last 6 months / ᑐᓂᓯᔭᕆᐊᓕᒃ ᐱᕋᔭᓚᐅᕐᓯᒪᓂᑰᒻᒪᖔᖅ ᖃᐅᔨᓴᖅᑕᐅᔾᔪᑎᒥᓂᖏᓐᓂᒃ ᐱᖓᓲᔪᖅᑐᓂᑦ (6) ᑕᖅᑭᓂᑦ ᐊᓂᒍᕋᑖᕐᓯᒪᔪᓂᑦ
