Call for Applications for QCAP 2025-2026

Iqaluit, Nunavut, August 18, 2025- The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is inviting Inuit to submit proposals for the Qikiqtani Cultural Activities Program (QCAP) for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, Fall/ Winter projects.

Individual Inuit and non-profit community groups from all Qikiqtani communities are invited to submit proposals for projects that will run between October 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.

QCAP provides funding for community-based projects that allow community members to participate in and learn traditional skills, such as but not limited to sewing, harvesting, and on-the-land activities.

QCAP is financed through QIA’s Legacy Fund. As the Legacy Fund grows, its revenues go to the Benefits Fund to increase programs available for Inuit.

Applications can be completed online at https://www.qia.ca/qcap-application/, or with the help of your local CLO.

If you would like more information, or if you require assistance completing the online or paper application form, please contact Darcy Nowdlak at 867-975-8435 or email qcap@qia.ca.
