The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) welcomes the appointment of James T. Arreak as the new chief executive officer of Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI).

“QIA has worked with Mr. Arreak in the past on several different projects and it was always a pleasure to do so. I congratulate him on his appointment and look forward to working with him again over the coming years,” said President Okalik Eegeesiak.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Arreak worked with the Nunavut Trust, the Government of Nunavut and as a consultant. He begins working with NTI on October 1, 2012.
