The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is hosting its first board meeting of 2021 in Iqaluit. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the meeting will be made available to the public via weblink.
QIA will be welcoming our newly elected board members and electing a new executive.
The board meeting agenda includes discussions on Baffinland’s phase two proposal for expansion of the Mary River Mine.
The meeting will also be an opportunity to release new QIA publications such as:
- QIA’s 2020 Tallurutiup Imanga Annual Report
- QIA’s winter 2021 newsletter
All publications will be made available on QIA’s website at https://www.qia.ca/documents/
