REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: CHIEF RETURNING OFFICER – POND INLET
Proposals due: January 23, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Eastern Time
The following is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of services by a Proponent or Contractor for the Position of Chief Returning Officer for Qikiqtani Inuit Association (referred to in this RFP as “QIA”). This RFP is issued in accordance with the QIA Election Regulations for the selection of a Chief Returning Officer who will supervise and direct the administration of the by-election that has been fixed by resolution of the QIA Board of Directors for April 10, 2017 pursuant to Section 2.1 of the Election Regulations for the community of Pond Inlet.
The by-election is to elect an eligible candidate for the vacant position on the QIA Board of Directors of Community Director for Pond Inlet. The eligible candidate elected will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of the former director, and to complete the remainder of the former director’s term ending December 31, 2018.
Submission
The Proponent may submit a hard copy and/or an electronic copy of their proposal. Hard copies should be in a sealed envelope or other sealed packaging, clearly marked on the outer surface with the name of the Position. Proposals are to be submitted to:

Proposals accepted until 5:00 pm. Eastern on January 23, 2017 (closing date).
Acceptance of late proposals is at the Qikiqtani Inuit Association’s sole discretion.
