The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) today is pleased to announce the appointment Bernie MacIsaac to the position of Director of

Lands and Resources. His appointment to the position is effective immediately.

“Mr. MacIsaac brings extensive and valuable experience on northern issues to QIA and we are pleased to have him join our team and take over the Lands and Resources Department,” said President Okalik Eegeesiak.

Mr. MacIsaac has more than 30 years of experience working with industry, and various levels of government across Canada and the US. His most recent experience is with Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development in Iqaluit and previous to that with the Government of Nunavut.
