QIA Summer Student Employment Opportunities
Each year from June 1 to September 1, QIA supports Inuk students in preparing for future entry into the labour market by offering summer student employment where they can utilize and enhance their skills, while exploring potential careers.
In support of the goals of Article 23 of the Nunavut Agreement, preference in hiring is given to Nunavut Inuit students enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement, and Nunavut Inuit students aged 15 to 30 years of age.
Guidelines: Students who have completed high school, or full-time students who are enrolled or accepted into an upcoming term for any post-secondary program, or students who have completed a past term of any post-secondary program can apply for Summer Student Employment Opportunities with QIA.

- Resume (identify Inuktitut language skills)
- Proof of enrollment, transcripts or certificates
- Criminal Record Check
- Nunavut Inuit Enrolment number
