QIA is Calling on all Inuit to update their Enrolment Information
Iqaluit, Nunavut – February 18, 2022 The NTI enrolment card allows you to access important benefits entitled to you under the Nunavut Agreement. This includes but is not limited to:
- Nunavut Inuit Health Benefits
- Elders Pension and Supports
- Nunavut Inuit specific scholarships
- Discounted Airfares with Northern Airlines
- Registry and benefits for Inuit Owned Businesses under the Inuit Firm Registry
- Community Harvesters Program
- Other QIA led initiatives and programs
Each Community in Nunavut has a Community Enrolment Committee that reviews Enrolment applications – you cannot get your enrolment number issued in one day or one week, send in your application if:
- You’ve gone through a name change
- You’ve moved to a different community
- You’ve recently had a child
- You’ve adopted an Inuk child
- A enrolled member has recently passed away
