QIA’s information session for Q-STEP and Tuttarvik
Date: February 19, 2018
Location: Kimmirut, Sanikiluaq, Resolute Bay, and Grise Fiord

The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) will be visiting Qikiqtani communities to present information sessions on the new Qikiqtani Skills and Training for Employment Partnership (Q-STEP) and to help enroll Inuit in our new employment database Tuttarvik.

Q-STEP is a QIA initiative in partnership with Baffinland Iron Mines with support from the Government of Canada, the Government of Nunavut and Kakivak.

QIA has also created an Inuit Labour Pool Database (Tuttarvik) that will help promote Inuit training opportunities and will assist employers in identifying suitable candidates for employment and training.

By joining Tuttarvik, individuals will automatically link their resume to upcoming employment opportunities across the Qikiqtani region.  Additionally, participants will become eligible to take part in training and education.
