EVENT: Inuit-Owned-Land Beach Clean-up Questionnaire
DATE AND INFORMATION: Questionnaire Closes June 30, 2021

The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is seeking input from Inuit, Elders, harvesters, shack owners, and other stakeholders on the management of the Inuit-Owned Beach land in Iqaluit.

We are looking to better understand how Inuit use the beach and their experiences. The responses will help guide QIA in how to manage the Inuit-Owned-Land Beach land.

We are gathering information through a questionnaire. This questionnaire can be completed independently online or with assistance from QIA staff.

To complete the questionnaire with QIA staff please call 867.975.8400 and ask to speak with QIA’s Manager of Lands Administration or Lands Officer.

After successful completion of the survey, you will be entered to win one of the following prizes:

• 1st Prize: $500 Gift Certificate to Arctic Survival
• 2nd Prize: $300 Gift Certificate to Miqsuqta
• 3rd Prize: Barrel of home heating fuel from Uqsuq Corporation ($200 value)

(Prize draw is limited to Inuit living in Iqaluit, 18 years and older)

The deadline for questionnaire submission is June 30, 2021.
