As Inuit leaders, our actions are driven by our vision and mission. Our priorities at QIA revolve around individual and family well-being, protection and promotion of Inuit culture and language, and preparing Inuit, particularly youth, for emerging opportunities

that reflect Inuit values.

As we continue to work and advocate for the interests of the Qikiqtani Inuit, our partnerships with the federal government regarding Arctic policy, both domestic and foreign, are more important than ever. We must continue to empower Inuit and take every opportunity to connect with Canada’s policy and program decision-makers. However, we are faced with a number of issues that plague our daily lives, but we are founded in a strong culture and I am optimistic our endeavors at QIA, our subsidiary organizations, your leadership, and our will for a better future for our children will prevail.(read the complete report)
