The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to fulfill the Supervisor of Community Liaison Officer Program role. The Supervisor position is a key operational and supervisory role within Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA). The Supervisor manages and supports 13 Community Liaison Officers across the region and ensures programs and information are shared effectively. Reporting to the Director of Administration within the Department of Executive Management, the Supervisor will act as the point of contact for QIA’s CLO Program and community-based information sharing, program delivery, and program administration.
This position is key in making sure QIA programs run smoothly and that communities are informed and engaged. Key responsibilities include performance management and supervision of QIA’s 13 Community Liaison Officers, informing community members of QIA programs and initiatives, providing program administration, organizing meetings, preparing agendas, meeting minutes and reports on community committees and meetings, while aligning conduct with Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit principles.

Generally, a diploma in Inuit Studies or Office Administration is required. A combination of relevant education and experience may be deemed an acceptable equivalency. An acceptable Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check is required. No housing provided.
The salary range for this position is $81,221 to $ 119,124 per annum, plus a Nunavut Northern Allowance of $27,600 per annum. Annual vacation travel assistance (VTA) is also provided. Housing is not provided.
