Notice is hereby given to the voting Beneficiaries of Qikiqtani Inuit Association that a by‐election will take place on December 10, 2012 and that the nomination period is open immediately.

Nominations open: October 29th, 2012

Nominations close: November 12TH, 2012 (5 P.M. Eastern Standard Time)

Elections will be held for the following QIA board positions:

• Community Director, Pond Inlet

The by‐election will be on Monday, December 10, 2012 – the same day as the QIA general election. Nominations for candidates must be received before 5 p.m. EST on November 12th, 2012. This position is for a two (2) year term expiring December 2014.
