This year the Qikiqtani Inuit Association worked with Baffinland Iron Mines to put into place our 2017 Inuit Impact and Benefit Agreement Work Plan for the Mary River Project. The overall objective of the Work Plan is to increase Inuit employment and training – and give workers the tools they need to get more jobs as well as advance to better positions. We want to invite the next government to do their part to assist Inuit to be better trained for jobs.
