Pursuant to the Election Regulations, Article 6(3), notice is hereby given that the by‐election of the Igloolik community director will take place on the following:

Date: Monday, April 30, 2012

Time: Between 10 AM and 7 PM (Eastern Standard Time)

Location: Igloolik Hamlet Office

To vote in this by‐election you have to be a resident of Igloolik, aged 16 years or older and enrolled as a beneficiary under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement. Eligible voters who are not on the voter’s list can sign a declaration of eligibility form on or before the by‐election day in order to be able to vote.

The list of voters for Igloolik is posted in public and is available for viewing through the local Community Liaison Officer or by contacting the Chief Returning Officer.

Proxy voting forms may also be obtained, signed and submitted if Igloolik beneficiaries choose to vote by proxy.
