Notice is hereby given to the voting Beneficiaries of the Qikiqtani Inuit Association in that the nomination period for the QIA 2013 elections is now open.

Nominations close: November 20, 2013 at 5:00PM EST

Elections will be held for the following QIA Board positions:

• Vice President
• Community Director, Pangnirtung

Elections will be on Monday, December 9, 2013. Nominations for candidates for election of Vice President and Community Director must be received before 5 p.m. EST on November 20, 2013. All of the positions are for a three (3) year term expiring December 2016.

Nomination papers submitted by fax will be accepted, provided the fax is received before 5:00 p.m. ET on November 20, 2013 at the office of the Qikiqtani Inuit Association.
