Department of Operations
The Department of Operations is the overall administrative and human resources sector of QIA. The department’s functions include: hiring, managing compensation, benefits, employee relations, health and safety, professional development, leave and attendance, and the acquisition of all supplies.
Other key responsibilities include maintaining QIA’s corporate records (minutes and resolutions) and handling travel and logistics for the QIA board as well as all departmental staff.
In addition, the director participates and provides support in developing policy, strategic planning and annual budget preparations.
