Our Youth Department is responsible for:
- Seeking input from youth through the Baffin Regional Youth Council and local youth committees
- Develop and deliver programs and services that benefit young people in the region
- Provide support, guidance and assistance to the Baffin Regional Youth Council
- Act as a clearinghouse for information and resources for youth in the Qikiqtani region
The Youth Department works on programs and special projects such as:
- Traditional hunting and camping
- Traditional Sewing
- Inuktitut language celebrations
- Sprouts Summer Day Camp
